Decode nightmare

Submitted by admin on April 5, 2009 – 8:54 amComments

Answer to yesterday’s decoder: Kwangmyongsong-2

N. Korea was ready for launching their communication satellite on April 4th. The rocket carrier was Unha-2. This launch would have created a furor as the US was against it and they believe N.Korea is all set to launch a test a missile launch. Launch or no launch, nobody could answer this question yesterday.

Today’s code: (Starting off the points systems)

Level - Easy (much easier than yesterday’s)

Points - 1 point for correct answer (No points for getting half of it right!)

  • Below is a wierd conversation. Somewhere in the conversation are two people who you have to identify by identifying from the anagrams! (Hint: They are very famous!)
  • The password is formed by using the initials of the names of the two people in the same order they appear in and in capital format.
    • e.g. If “Shishir B Dash” and “Prothit Sen” are the names then the password is “SBDPS”
  • Once you have figured out the password, head over to http://elitwit.com/decoder and submit it. If you don’t see “Congratulations…” try again!
  • Hint: One is Indian One is American. Both are alive and kicking ass! Both are politicians! Answer lies in the second line - read carefully!! What more hints do you want??!!

Mother to her son “What?”

Naval kid  ”Ma, tHat is a barb oak!”

Please do not discuss the answer in the comments section. Just let us know if you want extra hints :)

  • that's why the H was in Caps :)

We shall pay our editor less for omitting the 'c'... he is a 10th drop out:P Won't happen again. Thanks for pointing out though!
  • Nathan
Well, I tried LKABO for like half an hour!

Plus, it's spelt Barack, not Barak. And there was no 'c' anywhere in the sentence to form an anagram.

    The password: LKABHO

LK Advani - "Naval kid" and Barack Hussein Obama.(Corrected) - *Note C was omitted in the anagram as pointed out by Nathan below due to some @$*& up at our end but congos to those who could still figure it out!!

Cracked by the following (in order of submission):

    -- Ramachandran R
    -- Sangeeta Patel
    -- Thomas Jacob

Each of them have earned 1 point each for answering the above!

Decoded by Ramamchandran R (Username: Ramcha)! great going!... Ramcha kick starts the race with 1 point for sure. He has also submitted a partial list of answers for the quiz and has earned over 10 points in the same. With 1 week left to go - seems like Ramcha is leading the pack!

Our team member Prothit Sen has just solved it - but we can't declare him the winner... so anybody else??
